EAZY Super App – Vendor Terms and Conditions

 

1. Introduction

Welcome to EAZY Super App from EMG. By registering as a vendor on the EAZY Super App platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. By clicking the “I ACCEPT” button, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and EMG Consulting Technology Provider ("EMG"), the developer of Super EAZY. This agreement covers your access to and use of the Super EAZY application and related services. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the app or its services. EMG reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the app indicates acceptance of any changes. The governing law is based on the legal frameworks of Ethiopia, specifically the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

 

2. Vendor Eligibility

To be eligible as a vendor on the Platform, you must:

Operate a registered business in Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. 

Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

Comply with all local regulations, licenses, and certifications relevant to your business operations.

 

3. Vendor Services and Listings

As a vendor, you can offer the following services through the Platform:

  • Product Sales: Vendors may sell products for delivery, dine-in, self-pickup, or through the EAZY online market.
  • Service Appointments: Vendors can offer services where customers can book appointments directly on the EAZY Platform.
  • Rentals: Vendors may list products for rent in the Platform’s EAZY rental section.

 

By listing products or services, vendors agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete descriptions, pricing, and availability information.
  • Ensure all products and services comply with applicable laws and safety regulations.
  • Honor all accepted orders, appointments, and rental agreements as listed.

 

4. Registration and Vendor Account

Vendors must create an account to offer products and services on the Platform.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials.

The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend vendor accounts if any false or misleading information is provided.

 

5. Product Listings and Pricing

Vendors are responsible for:

  • Setting and managing the pricing for their products and services.
  • Updating inventory levels and availability in real-time to avoid customer disappointment.
  • Ensuring that all prices include applicable taxes or fees unless otherwise stated.

 

6. Delivery, Dine-In, and Self-Pickup

Vendors may offer products for delivery, dine-in, or self-pickup.

 

Delivery: Vendors must adhere to delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch. Vendors are responsible for packaging goods securely for delivery.

 

Dine-In: Vendors offering dine-in options must ensure availability and adhere to any reservation or order policies as stated on the Platform.

 

Self-Pickup: For self-pickup orders, vendors must ensure that products are prepared and available for the customer within the agreed pickup window.

 

7. Service and Appointment Bookings

  • Vendors may offer services that customers can book through the EAZY service.
  • Vendors must specify available time slots, service descriptions, and prices clearly.
  • Vendors are required to honor all confirmed appointments and maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling by the vendor should be communicated promptly to customers.

 

8. Rentals

Vendors may list products for rent in the Platform’s EAZY rental section.

Vendors are responsible for setting rental prices, defining rental periods, and ensuring that items are in good condition for rental use.

Vendors must adhere to rental agreements and provide the rental product as advertised. Any damage claims or disputes must be handled promptly between the vendor and the customer.


 

9. Cancellation Policy, Refunds, and Returns

9.1 Vendor Cancellation Policy

Order/Service Cancellations by Vendors: If a vendor needs to cancel an order, rental, or service booking due to unforeseen circumstances, the vendor must inform the customer as soon as possible and issue a full refund, if applicable.

Customer Cancellations: Vendors must clearly state their cancellation policies for customers, including the deadlines for free cancellations (e.g., 24 hours before the scheduled time). If a customer cancels after the free cancellation window, vendors may choose to charge a cancellation fee, which should be clearly disclosed on the Platform.

  • Any issue claims or disputes must be handled promptly between the vendor and the customer.

 

9.2 Refund Policy

Product Purchases: Vendors must establish a clear refund policy for each product category they offer. If a customer is eligible for a refund due to defective products, incorrect items, or late deliveries, vendors must process the refund within 2 business days.

Delivery/Shipping Fees: Refunds for delivery or shipping fees are only applicable if the product was not delivered or the vendor failed to meet the specified delivery time.

Non-refundable Items: Vendors must specify any products or services that are non-refundable at the time of listing.

  • Service Appointments: If a service is not provided as promised or a booking is canceled by the vendor, the vendor must issue a full refund to the customer. If the customer cancels the appointment within the allowable time frame, no charges should apply; otherwise, cancellation fees may apply based on the vendor’s stated policy.
  • Rental Refunds: Refunds for rental services are subject to the terms outlined by the vendor. If a customer cancels a rental booking within the allowed time frame, they may be eligible for a full or partial refund. If the vendor fails to provide the rental item as promised, a full refund must be issued to the customer.

 

9.3 Returnable and Non-Returnable Products

Returnable Products: Vendors must clearly define which products are eligible for return, including the conditions under which returns will be accepted (e.g., defective items, incorrect orders, damaged goods). Return windows (e.g., within 14 days of receipt) and conditions (e.g., unopened, unused) must be clearly stated.

Return Shipping: Vendors must specify who is responsible for the cost of return shipping (the vendor or the customer).

Non-Returnable Products: Certain products, such as perishable goods, custom-made items, or hygiene-related products, may be non-returnable. Vendors must clearly label these items as non-returnable on the product listing.

 

9.4 Handling Refunds and Returns

Vendors are responsible for processing refunds and handling return requests in a timely manner. All refund requests must be reviewed and responded to within 2 business days.

If a product or service does not meet the customer's expectations and the vendor refuses to issue a refund, the dispute may be escalated to the Company for mediation. The Company reserves the right to take further action, including suspension or termination of the vendor's account, in the event of unresolved disputes.

 

10. Payment and Commission

The Platform will process customer payments for products, services, and rentals.

The Company will deduct a commission for each transaction made through the EAZY Platform, the details of which will be outlined in your vendor account.

Vendors will receive payments on a scheduled basis after deducting applicable commissions and fees.

 

11. Vendor Responsibilities

As a vendor on EAZY Super App, you agree to:

  • Provide high-quality products and services as advertised.
  • Handle customer orders, appointments, and rentals promptly and professionally.
  • Comply with all laws and regulations relating to your business and the products or services you offer on the Platform.
  • Not engage in misleading or deceptive practices.

 

12. Product and Service Standards

Vendors must ensure that all products and services comply with applicable health, safety, and quality standards.

Vendors are responsible for any claims related to their products or services, including warranties, defects, and customer complaints.

 

13. Termination of Vendor Account

EAZY Super App reserves the right to terminate or suspend a vendor account in the event of:

  • Breach of these terms and conditions.
  • Provision of false or misleading information.
  • Repeated customer complaints or low ratings.
  • Illegal or fraudulent activities.

 

14. Modifications to Terms

EAZY Super App reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Vendors will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the Platform signifies acceptance of the updated terms.

 

15. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from the sale or rental of products, provision of services, or interactions between vendors and customers on the Platform. Vendors agree to indemnify the Company against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their activities on the Platform.

 

16. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
